The date for the region’s largest hiring event, RISE Job Palooza, is set for Wednesday, Sept. 2 at Enmarket Arena, 620 Stiles Ave. Employers actively hiring in Bryan, Bulloch, Candler, Chatham, Effingham, Evans, Liberty and Screven counties will be on-site during the one day job fair. Last year’s event drew 124 employers with more than 2,400 job seekers. The job fair is open to all job seekers. There are no parking fees at the arena and the first 300 job seekers who complete a survey will receive a voucher good for a meal that day at the Enmarket Arena. WorkSource Coastal will be providing on-site resume assistance including creating and printing resumes. If you have a resume, plan on bringing copies for potential employers. WorkSource Coastal will also print copies of your resume if you do not have access to a printer. In addition to meeting with hiring employers, job seekers can connect with workforce and community partners offering valuable tools and support for advancing their careers.
