Caprese Salad

Ingredients for Caprese salad for 2:

  • 400 g tomatoes
  • 250 g mozzarella
  • 20 g fresh basil
  • 1 tbsl. olive oil
  • ½ tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • Salt to taste


  1. Wash and slice the tomatoes.
  2. Cut the mozzarella into slices, and if you would like to serve it to your partner, use a heart shaped cookie cutter to cut out mozzarella hearts.
  3. To arrange the Caprese Salad, alternate the tomato and mozzarella slices, place the fresh basil leaves between them and drizzle the olive oil, balsamic vinegar and salt over.
