The Savannah Music Festival is excited to present the first concert in a year-round series at District Live at Plant Riverside District, featuring the acclaimed Atlanta-based blues guitarist, singer and songwriter Tinsley Ellis on his highly anticipated “Naked Truth” tour.

Tinsley Ellis describes his forthcoming Feb. 9 Alligator Records release “Naked Truth,” which is his first solo acoustic project in a career spanning four decades, as both “a departure and an arrival.” Throughout his career, Ellis has recorded and traveled the world, delivering his feral, guitar-fueled, original electric blues-rock to ever-growing audiences at concert halls, festivals and clubs. His latest album is steeped in the folk-blues traditions of Muddy Waters, Skip James, Son House, Robert Johnson and Leo Kottke. For Ellis, this legacy is a natural extension of his music, as he taps into the raw essence of the blues.
